Waves harnessed for energy

With the upcoming energy crisis, sources of clean, renewable energy is becoming more and more looked for as a replacement for fossil fuels like oil, coal, and natural gas. There are many different alternative fuels, like wind power, hydroelectric, solar power, and others.

One interesting notion is called Pelamis, or the Wave Farm. It operates of the coast of Portugal at Agucadoura, and it converts wave energy into electricity. They are currently creating over 2.25 MW or million Watts. Pretty impressive!!
